Winter Sports Concludes On A High Note For The Stallions
Levine Academy

What an exciting year for Ann & Nate Levine Academy's Athletic Department thus far!

Last night the 5th and 6th Grade Girls Basketball team won this year's MAL Championship Game! We could not be prouder -- this year's finalists were two Jewish Day Schools! Levine defeated Akiba, 21-20. Lady Stallions hoisted the trophy with jubilation as family members and fans swarmed the court. The game was tight from the opening minutes; both teams played aggressively and feverishly throughout. Truly an outstanding show of talent and sportsmanship from both teams!

On Wednesday, our 5th and 6th Boys Basketball team finished its season in spirited fashion in the semi-final match vs. Akiba. The boys churned out a valiant effort against Akiba, though they fell short of moving forward to the finals.

Additionally, we would like to highlight the successful season for the 7th and 8th Grade Boys and Girls Basketball teams! The boys finished second in the TAPS championship. The girls reigned supreme winning the championship game against Alcuin, 27-15. Check out this week's TJP article on the 7th and 8th Grade girls team! Click HERE.

Early in the fall, the 6th Grade Girls Volleyball team won the MAL Volleyball Championship in a decisive victory, 25-11. These girls worked incredibly hard with lots of positive momentum.

We could not be more proud of all our boys and girls; they have represented Levine Academy to the highest level on and off the courts! Thank you to our terrific coaching staff and Athletic Director Kevin Steinberg!

MAZEL TOV, Levine Stallions!
