Every year, Levine Middle School students take experiential trips starting with Greene Family Camp in Fifth Grade to The Tour of Texas in Sixth to DC/NYC in Seventh and finally, Israel in Eighth.
In Sixth Grade, students experience their learning and love for the Great State of Texas and are reminded of the great honor of freedom, sacrifice, beauty and perseverance. They start with a guided tour and scavenger hunt at The Texas Ranger Museum, stay and explore the Texas Hill Country at Camp Young Judaea, "Remember the Alamo", discover the underground caverns at Nature Bridge Caverns, challenge themselves over Ropes Canopy Courses, develop an understanding of life in the 1960's at LBJ Presidential Library, enjoy college life lounging at UT's Hillel, get in touch with their creative side at The Blanton Museum's makerspace and finally, touring our State Capitol.
Enjoy the photos of their journey! Shabbat Shalom!
