Enrichment Programs

Preschoolers at Levine academy have an opportunity to attend the Afternoon Enrichment Program. This program gives children a wonderful opportunity to learn through discovery and exploration in such ways as hands-on experiences, reading, drama, movement, science, cooking, and art. Co-curricular programs are also offered for the early childhood center child:

  • Power Kids: Teaches proper gross motor skills such as kicking, throwing, and dribbling. Power Kids develops skills, knowledge and positive attitudes toward a more active lifestyle.
  • Capers: Provides children the chance to explore their creative side through drama. Drama enhances each child’s learning by promoting language experiences and independent thinking and allowing children to express themselves through movement and group interaction.
  • Creative Cooking: Allows children to express their creativity while introducing basic math and science concepts through the cooking process
